Overview
The AUTOCOATER 2 SC™ is engineered to restore the protective coating on acrylate-coated optical fibers used in high-strength applications. This fully automatic system ensures operator skill-independent operation, making it ideal for factory environments where cost-effectiveness and productivity are crucial. Unlike the standard AUTOCOATER 2™, this modified version features specialized clamps for recoating applications that accommodate short fiber lengths. With a narrower positioning and reduced distance between the fiber clamps, it is capable of clamping and recoating fibers as short as 124 mm, without compromising the recoat length itself.
